Meet Kim
Kim Snyder, MS, LPC, CRC, graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and obtained a dual Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from the School of Health Professionals at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Kim has worked in the mental health and behavioral field for more than 15 years in various roles. Her experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in an outpatient setting. I enjoy working with clients with a variety of needs including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, adjustment issues, and family issues as well as individuals with disabilities. Kim looks forward to building productive therapeutic relationships with my clients. She recognizes the importance of faith in my life and I am available to clients to freely explore spiritual aspects of their lives. Kim utilizes a client-centered holistic approach and use a variety of treatment modalities to fit each client’s needs including but not limited to CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based as well as Integrated faith-based, and Family System approaches.
